White with One challenge

The White with One challenge colour for November is 'freesia'

and this is what I did..

Randomly punch around the page using various punches.. a couple of different shades of 'yellow' gelatos were then used over the white cardstock... Pink Paislee 'Artisan papers' was misted, torn and adhered with lace tucked under top and bottom...an oval frame inked yellow was used under a Manor House Creations frame...a wood 'E' was heat embossed with white utee & strung with a tassel from Auzz Trinklets and tied with a spotty bow...Scrapmatts 'love that' arrow was heat embossed with white... Heidi Swapp title pieces and Thickers to finish the title...Manor House Creations & Prima flowers (Prima inked yellow)... paper doiley tucked underneath to layer!

Black with two challenge - November

Black with two challenge for November is -

...and this is what I did...

This is the first time I've actually entered this challenge!

I layered some blue and tangerine cardstock under a black piece and then misted a piece of Pink Paislee 'Artisan papers' and trimmed it into a circle...sprinkled My2angels blue 'sugar beads' around the edge...diecut a bunch of the 'large ringlets' from Memory box and adhered them underneath the circle... the Kaisercraft 'Foliage' was cut twice... Prima resist canvas was misted and adhered across the circle.. Manor House Creations and Prima flowers... and the 'string circles' are Scrapmatts.... Thickers for the title and a Prima 'tap'!!

Scrapping Outback Challenge

The Scrapping Outback challenge this month is 'White with a twist' - look at the beautiful colours! 

So this is what I did with the picture...

I smeared some Prima/Finnabair 'platinum crackle paste' over a piece of black cardstock...tore a strip of Kaisercraft corrugated card and dripped a couple of different Izinks, misted and heat embossed the edge with Stampendous aged enamel... the wooden film strip pieces, 'Wow' arrow, fern leaf & various flowers & hearts are all heat embossed with various shades of blue/green and are from Scrapmatts... a couple of Prima flowers... crystal branches from Auzz Trinklets... the lace from my stash... and the super cute 'Frog pin' handmade by Tracy at My2angels.

The photo was taken while Aunty Sandra and I were on Melissa Kennedy's Scrapbook cruise - she was very brave and is holding not one but two green lizards!!

Sharon Youngs - Close to my Heart Challenge (November)

Close to my Heart challenge!!

My friend Sharon is a Close to my Heart demonstrator and organises a challenge each month in her Facebook group - November had a sketch and to use the colour 'Blue'.... here is what I did...

 I won a CTMH challenge and the prize was a Paper pack - Free to be me - all the paper used on this layout is from that paper pack! There was also a 12x12 sheet of vellum with gold foil spot which I'm looking forward to using!

The clouds were misted through a template... the TH 'sunburst' was used with the new Prima/Finnabair Platinum Crackle paste (Love this!)... the rhinestone circles and blue 'sugar beads' are from My2angels (Versatile)... most of the chipboard is from Scrapmatts, mostly all heat embossed... the rest are treasures!

Scrap around the World challenge

Hello!! Scrap around the World has a great inspiration picture... I particularly liked the butterfly image and colours!!



 

This is what I did...

The photo was taken on Melissa Kennedy's Scrapbooking cruise in February 2014 - Aunty Sandra and I would always have dinner in the 'fancy' restaurant and I usually had the 'cocktail of the day'...

I learnt a few things about myself over that 11 nights!

Close to my Heart challenge

My lovely friend Sharon Young is a Close to my Heart demonstrator with a Monthly challenge in her group on Facebook - for October the challenge was to use some CTMH papers and create a layout - my other lovely friend Jacqui gave me a choice of some papers and I chose 2 pieces, 6x12 from the 'Lollydoodle' range and this is what I did with them...

The pink background paper and green leaves are the papers I used 

This is a photo of me on our Wedding day (1/2/92) just a few years ago! ...and yes, I'm still blessed!!

See the pretty pink seed beads wrapped around the chipboard frame? ... these are from my2angels one strand is only 60c at the moment BARGIN!

Scrapping Outback challenge

The Scrapping Outback challenge this month used this inspiration photo -

and this is what I did with those colours.. on a white cardstock base!

This photo was taken of our daughter Emily on the Royal Caribbean's  'Legend of the Seas' cruise from China, Russia, Japan, South Korea and back to China that we took in 2011 - loads of stories and heaps of photos!!

White with One - Radiant Orchid

Thought I'd give the WHITE WITH ONE challenge a go this month... the colour is "Radiant Orchid"

This photo was taken as I left hospital in my Mother's arms... it has been through the '74 floods and is tinged with the perfect shade of 'purple' for this particular challenge!!

(those sneaky sequin flowers turned green!)
