It's been too long between

Magic - which I won in a previous challenge... bonus!

The background was created with
Colour Burst in Merlot and Pthalo Green
Colour Blast in Rose Petal and Lipstick
Lindys Stamp Gang Moonshadow 'Ethereal Emerald'

Flowers are Manor House Creations 'Emma'
Pink Paislee 'Hope Chest' Dog tag
White bow was handmade by Gwen Wruck

Kraft + April challenge - Black & White

I love the simplicity of
BLACK
&
WHITE
so, though I'd have a go at the Kraft + challenge for April

I started with a sheet of Kraft and swiped white crackle roughly around the edge - while it was drying, I layered the photo onto some Manor House Creations packaging (those doodly type flowers looks a little like the inspiration picture in the bottom right corner?) and some torn black cardstock too!
After flicking a little Kaisercraft mist in Charcoal in the corners, I adhered some kraft doodly flowers here and there (you could stamp some and doodle them yourself?) along with 2 Imaginarium Designs Chipboard, Jane and Natalie have both left bits and pieces here when they have visited so I snipped up 2 fancy corners and tucked it in a couple of places (bargain shopping!! lol)

Finished embellishing with a My2angels handmade Bottlecap - how lovely is the sentiment?

And this is what it finished up as...

Such a cute shot of Dad and Daughter - look at her scrunchy face!!

White with One - Jester Red - April challenge

Quite an unusual shade of RED..

a little splash of red?

I picked up some lovely professional photographs,
will be making some lovely layouts for the little girls album!

This is my entry for April

Those lovely resin pieces are from THE RESIN RAINBOW's April kit - I did try to use them all but there is so much left over - I've snipped the circle pieces in half - when I put a dot of hot glue on the beautiful butterfly I held the wings up till the glue cooled, so now it looks like it flew onto the page!

I started by drawing the grid from the outside in, twisted and twirled the ribbon from My2angels,
then started adding everything inside the frame

the final touch was sprinkling the SUGAR BEADS into the little gaps here and there!

The title is from SCRAPMATTS and I thought it was the perfect sentiment for this photo - those cute butterflies, ink red are Scrapmatts too!

I LOVE that the Mum's fingernails were painted RED - Perfect!!

Dusty Attic - April challenge

Such pretty colours!!
How can you resist..

I think these colours are so pretty!!

I love the almost 12" leafy frame - it also has a smaller version and a couple of corners too!
So based my layout around this frame - I began be covering the square in Distress 'Seedless Preserve' and Adirondack 'Cool Peri' and then a dabbed a little Distress Crackle in 'Weathered Wood' and while it was still wet sprinkled lavendar micro beads and a little Colour Burst in 'Pthalo Green'.

NEW PRODUCT from My2angels - ask Tracy how you can get one of these?

See how the beads dangle under that sugared bead... so pretty!!
I heat embossed "Tinby Metallic Melts in Teal" and then sprinkled a little White and a little Lindys Stamp Gang 'Merry-go-round Green.. just for a bit of fun!

but they come in other colours too!
It does come with a verse "I believe in love at first sight because I am a Mum" which I love but thought it would make a nice base for my chipboard word 'Artist' which I heat embossed with Tinby Metallic melts (2 coats is perfect!)

I 've added some micro beads in lavendar  over that beautiful piece of resin from

Those cute mini roses that are dotted around the frame are from
and there is a rainbow of colours to choose from, you will find them in the
Flower section

The White flowers are all Dusty Attic 'Bridal Veil'
'Artist' comes from the Mini Words #3
Highlight come from the Word Pack#17

Patterned paper is StudioLight  from Bella Paperie (SCRAPPLP01 and SCRAPPLP03)
- the hand dyed Muslin is also from Bella Paperie - it comes is so many pretty colours!

The photo is from Donna Downey's visit to Joybells in 2015 - my friend Cathy Cafun and I went to class and we knew a bunch of lovely ladies there - here we are with Karen and Hayley... and Donna, of course! I must have been a little nostalgic as Donna is teaching this weekend at Joybell's and I couldn't get there this time!! I have a bunch of friends who are sharing photos of what I am missing out on, as a bonus!

Kaisercraft - Sea Breeze CARDS, with the Clear Stamp and Paper Pad

The Kaisercraft Paper Pad is the perfect size to create cards...
the prints are smaller than the 12z12 sheets and the die cuts in the last few pages are so handy!!
The Clear Stamps sets always have images that co-ordinate with the Patterned Papers from the collection, so it's always super easy to create projects that match!!

The DT have created some cards to showcase these two items,
this is what I did -
I started by choosing the 'browns' in  the Sea Breeze collection - why? As those teals are so beautiful, I need to use the other colours effectively also!!
Anyway, I trimmed one of the 'browns' and adhered it to the front, then traced the bracket die cut and trimmed the front of the card, this allows you to add a co-ordinating paper inside the card.
There is a couple of sheets which are paler and allow you to 'add colour' so I choose this large woodgrain and began stamping!

Kaisercraft products : PP994 Paper Pad | CS253 Clear Stamp | CD502 Card pack Square 'cream' | IP727 Lagoon ink | KM113 Coffee mist | KM105 Turquoise |
Other : black ink

I stamped the "lagoon' ink over a stamp block, and sprinkled some 'coffee' mist then spritzed with water before 'stamping' the block onto the paper - dry!
Then ink up the 'Lagoon' onto the larger Scroll and stamp along the bottom edge - stamp the flower up the left side and finally the sentiment in black - done!

Super quick and easy card, one for almost any occasion?

When was the last time YOU sent a card?

Scrapping Outback - April Challenge

Okay,
Scrapping Outback
is back again for the

APRIL CHALLENGE

...and it's easy!
Just create a layout with the colours in this picture
and chipboard!!

Did you know one of my favourite colours is...
ORANGE!!
well, copper really, and green?
Anyway, this is what I did...

Every piece of chipboard is from Scrapmatts
And a couple of close ups
This of the cute little butterflies - from Kelly-ann Oosterbeek - they are self adhesive and come in a range of pretty colours to match almost anything!!

And two of the pieces from The Resin Rainbow
The cute little apricot Star and the white Flourish
But Janet can do almost any colour and any shape, just ask?

First challenge for April - done!!
