Blue Fern Studios - August Challenge

It's August already!!
Can you believe how fast 2015 is travelling... or maybe I am just having too much fun!!

Such a great sketch again this month..
how can you refuse not to participate!!

I started with a sheet of the new
the blues and greens of
Dans Le Jardin
which had all these fabulous frames to fussy cut!
I've heat embossed
Deja Vu Border
Chained Bits
(Designed by Michele Singh)
and the title
comes from a pack with Happy and Smile - designed by Janene Meyerowitz.
I love Beck Beatties "Tinby Metallic Melts" and I heat embossed a number of the colours!
Finished embellishing with some Monr House Creations flowers and a couple of metal flowers from my friend Sharon Pick.

Photo is of Anthony and I a couple of years ago, in Malaysia on our 20th Wedding Anniversary!!

  1. Ahhh, isn't Frolic just the most beautiful collection!!? :-) It sure is a fave of mine! I love what you did with it, and the heat embossed chipboards turned out great. I like the special shine that the heat embossing creates. Thanks for playing along with our challenge again and have a great week end!! :-)

    1. Yes, Frolic certainly is beautiful - Thank you so much :)

  2. I am so excited to see you using the Frolic Collection. It's such a happy collection and perfect for this layout celebrating your anniversary trip. The chipboard pieces you have chosen add just the right touch. Thanks for joining us for this month's sketch challenge at Blue Fern Studios.

    1. Yes, Frolic had just arrived into one of our local stores - I don't think there is much left now!! Thank you so much :)
