Wow DECEMBER is here and already half to Christmas!!
I haven't crafted for a few weeks...
I have cleaned my room so am ready to go -
I saw a beautiful layout on the Dusty Attic FB page,
and the Mood Board this month has the most glorious dark tones,
so I gathered some chipboard and created a layout
I took inspiration from.... just about everything in the photo!!
'Exquisite'
I had some leftover scraps from a class I did with Natalie May at Seriously Scrapbooking - Bo Bunny 'Beautiful Dreamer' collection - the papers have the most divine shade of 'purple' so I fussy cut a couple of pieces to add to the layering.
Dusty Attic chipboard pieces
- layered swirl Frame 2
- Hinges
- Mini Words #3
- Brick Wall panel
Added some 'Concrete paint' to the Brick Wall Panel, and proceeded to remove most of the bricks so I could continue the pattern - the paint is very realistic and they actually 'feel' like concrete, how cool is that (Paint available at Tj's Scrapping with Style)
The Frame and Hinge have Distress Paint and Kaisercraft mist in 'Blackberry' to colour - and the gold is from a Posca pen!!
A couple of the flowers were part of the Goody Bag at the Southside Stampers Retreat last August (Thank you for saving me time to make my own!!) I did alter them a little with some mist?
A couple of resin leaves from The Resin Rainbow..
Photo is my Mum as a child, I'm going to frame it for Christmas!!
