Scrap with Us - January challenge

My friend, Sharon Andrews, runs the Scrap With Us Facebook group - along with a bunch of lovely ladies who organise swaps and challenges!

This month I joined the tag swap for January - Theme is Love and Valentine's - my partner Vicki Hunter will receive this tag when I catch up with her next week...

The base is a Julie Nutting for Prima 'tag pad', distressed and a piece of Kaisercraft's XO paper adhered to the top. Viva Modelling crème in 'Mother of pearl rose" was swiped through a Kaisercraft "Quarters" before a Manor House Creations frame (cut) placed over the "sentiment" - some Heidi Swapp colour shine was sprayed over some of her resist pieces. Stampendous 'aged silver' enamel was heat embossed over a key & lock chipboard (unknown source?) and finished with a pink ribbon bow!!

This is what I created...





The paper is really old Teresa Collins 'Sweet Afternoon' - sprinkled with Prima Colour Bloom in 'Peony' - Various chipboards have been heat embossed with Stampendous, Tim Holtz distress and Stampin' Up! embossing powders, then spritzed with mists, the centres were filled with 'Sugar Beads' from My2Angels. Spritzed a paper doily with Glimmermist 'Tutti Fruitti" and added a 'Map Marker' from Charms Creations (perfect!) and a Flair button. Finished with a title in pink wire and alphas.
