Once upon a ...Sketch Challenge (final)

Once Upon A ...Sketch challenge blog  is closing...

So I thought I'd enter - this is what I did with the sketch...
and the Journalling theme is "It's December...."

and this is what I did with the sketch...

I went looking for some 'scripty' type of paper to use for the background and found this really OLD piece of Fancy Pants Designs "Love Story - One Heart' paper - I proceeded to scrunch white tissue and adhere over the top, dry, then spray with some Heidi Swapp and Glimmermist in blues & greens.

Around the edge has been swiped with Finnabair Texture paste 'Platinum Crackle'. I sourced a selection of Holly type leaves from Kaisercraft (wood) and some Scrapmatts poinsettia which are covered with Perfect Pearls in two different greens.

Some holly berries are Perfect Pearls and some red Kindyglitz.  The HO HO HO chipboard title was heat embossed with Stampendous 'Taupe' the die cut baubles underneath with Lindy's Stamp Gang powder.

My friend Tracy, from my2angels made a turquoise and silver charming pin in the perfect colour (but I removed the flower to suit the layout), and found a candy cane charm and tiny holly charm - so cute!

The journaling says - This was the reaction when I told the kids we were going to have a photo as our Christmas card - lucky they had red school uniforms!

I clicked off a couple of shots... this was NOT the one we used this year!
