The December challenge at Sketchy Boards has a Sketch...
and a Colour palette...
and I found a great photo of the 3 children... when Katelyn was 'terrified' of Santa - seemed to fit with the title of PEACE...
Found some old Prima 'Romance Novel' collection - Book Plate and some old My Mind's Eye 'The Sweetest Thing' and proceeded to tear diagonally across the page, flipped one piece over to fit the sketch. Layered some Kaisercraft Hessian ribbon along with some felt trim.
The Baubles were heat embossed with various 'red' powders and filled in with red Kindyglitz and Perfect Pearls. Various Scrapmatts chipboard 'Peace' were coloured with Gelli Rollers and gold Kindyglitz.
The twine was a gift from my friend Chris Valentine. The chipboard "Peace" was covered with Croco and the rectangular frame with Tim Holtz crackle paint. Prima Colour Bloom in 'Vintage Leather' was sprayed at the top to drip down across the layers and Dylusions was splattered across the page.
The page was not finished until the red felt scroll star ($1.00 for 4 BARGAIN!) and pearl pin from my2angels Snowflake Frenzy Christmas Kit was added - perfect finishing touches!

What we all need at this time of the year.... PEACE
