The Dusty Attic challenge for February is -
Such beautiful shades, so this is what I did -
My favourite people... EVER! My Grandparents - my Mum's Mum and Dad.
While I was looking at the 12x12 packet of Dusty Attic "de Vine frame' I couldn't help but feel it was such a waste to simply discard the 'outer' edge... so I used it - misting, staining, crackling and rubbing it with Inka Gold! The cardstock was misted with Tim Holtz Distress spray 'Antique Bronze', 'Seedless Preserve' and Memories Mist in 'Red' and 'Ameretto' - water was added, wait a sec then paper towel to 'remove' some colour. Aunty Sandra returned from the US with an American Crafts 'Embossed paper pad', I misted it and adhered it behind the photo and with the smaller Dusty Attic frame over a piece of Burlap Paper. Viva Croco in copper was smeared through a leafy stencil (old!) - to finish a cluster of Manor House Creations, Kaisercraft and some 'Op Shop bonus' flowers, & Doiley! Chipboard title was stained and rubbed with Inka Gold.
Enjoy, Alison x
